The challenge was to create an academic publication aimed for contemporary thinkers but with little budget. Using clever colour separation, economic large format, serious text layout and bold illustrations - made out of scans, photocopies and printed in special colours, UDP magazine quickly became a reference not only for the quality of their articles, but also for it's outstanding design.Editorial Design, Illustration2007 -
By showing a new and an old image of Mecca, the look of the campaign reflected the diverse content of the exhibition. A 'panelled' grid which was applied throughout, striking images and a strong use of black gave this campaign a contemporary twist on the subject. First main exhibition using the BM's New Visual Language.Identity, Marketing campaign2012 -

The challenge was to create a new Families language within the BM's NVL. I came with the idea of creating 'creatures' out of museum objects, which will appeal to younger audiences and parents alike. Is a simple yet beautiful idea, which is flexible enough to become timeless and unique.Identity2012 -

Identity and promotional material for Rain of Poems in London, part of Southbank Centre's Poetry Parnassus festival. The 'Bombing of Poems' is a performance by creative collective Casagrande. It consists of dropping one hundred thousand poems printed on bookmarks from an aircraft over cities bombed during military confrontations in the past. The bookmarks are released at twilight and printed in two languages, written by both Chilean writers and poets native to the location of the city. It has been held in Berlin, Warsaw, Guernica, Dubrovnik, Croatia and Santiago. Each time the cargo of poems was released, every single bookmark was picked up by the crowd. This performance creates an alternative image of the past and is a gesture of remembrance as well as being a metaphor for the survival. Beautiful.
Designs feature fluor red, 100% recycled paper and a 'secret' image made out of letters which was visible for the lucky few who collected the complete series - which was then sold as a gift box.Identity2012 -

Identity and campaign for the British Museum's Book of the Dead exhibition. As the idea of an endless papyrus exhibition was concerning a few, I came up with the idea of using intriguing questions in order to attract a younger and less academic audience. The identity was then taken by different stakeholders and applied to products and digital.Identity, Marketing campaign2011 -

DH Empresas is the company behind Casaideas (http://www.casaideas.com/) one of the biggest home decor shops in South america. and more than 50 shops. The signage for their corporate building had to reflect the spirit of the company - creative, fun and local. The result was a bold wayfinding system which divides areas by colour and a single line pattern that crosses the whole building.Signage, Environmental graphics2005 -

The challenge was to create an identity for a property development on the outskirts of Santiago. The offer was quite unusual as where more than 60 'ready to build' houses by renown contemporary architects. We create a modular system that allowed to pull out different kind of information depending on media and audience. The colours where muted and the images quite honest as we where trying to move away from cliches aiming to attract younger buyers.Identity2012 -
Literature magazine for the UDP. With little budget, this magazine is printed in two colours and have it's Dossier in the middle on a different coloured stock. The Chilean Institute for Society Studies required a new logo and a set of rules to roll throughout their printed and online material. We used a simple circular device and a set of three colours to build up a graphic system. We also create a set of templates as part of the graphic guidelines.Identity2012 -
